Thomas Pandolfi, Concert Pianist
October 6 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Concert pianist Thomas Pandolfi makes his fourth appearance at Derry Church as he plays several works by Frederic Chopin in addition to Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” and more on our new Steinway grand piano in the Sanctuary.
Mr. Pandolfi is one of the leading pianists of our time. Hailed a “phenomenon,” he began his career early on while at The Juilliard School (BM & MM). Since then he has been an audience favorite, selling out the world’s most prestigious stages, including Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Strathmore, The Kennedy Center, Kiev Opera House, Bucharest’s Athenaeum and London’s Cadogan Hall.
Mr. Pandolfi is a Steinway Artist, and his latest recording is the world premier of Polo Piatti’s Bohemian Concerto for Piano and Orchestra with The National Symphony Orchestra of London conducted by John Andrews. During the 2024/25 season, Mr. Pandolfi’s busy concert touring schedule will continue worldwide.
