Paloma School of Irish Dance
April 7 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Twenty-five talented dancers from the Paloma School of Irish Dance will take the stage in the Sanctuary at Derry Church to perform both spirited soft shoe numbers and heart-pounding hard shoe pieces.
The program is part of the church’s 2024 Arts Alive Cultural Series, and a free-will offering will be received.
Founded in 2015 with a handful of students meeting in a kitchen, the Paloma School of Irish Dance has grown into a school of more than 100 students with locations in Lancaster and Baltimore. Dancers have participated in hundreds of performances across central Pennsylvania, from nursing homes to concerts with Celtic bands from Ireland. The troupe features Irish Dancers who have won regional championships, are top dancers in North America, and have qualified for the World Championships and other overseas major championships. The musical group features musicians who have competed at the regional level and have qualified for the Irish Music World Championships in Ireland.
