Keystone Brass Quintet Presents “Something for Everyone”
November 14, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Now in its 45th season, the Keystone Brass Quintet returns to the Derry Church sanctuary with a concert themed “Something for Everyone.” The concert is part of the church’s 2021-22 Arts Alive cultural series.
The program will include selections from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Big Band eras, as well as marches and 1960s pop tunes.
The Keystone Brass Quintet was founded in the fall of 1976, and presented its first public concert in the spring of 1977 on the campus of York College. More than 350 performances later, two of the five founding members remain with the ensemble: Doug Winemiller on trumpet and Steve Burg on French horn. Rounding out the group are Peter Johnston, trumpet, George DeMers, tuba and Mike Hartman on trombone.
The Keystone Brass Quintet last performed a concert at Derry Church in March 2016.
Free will offering. Face masks required.
