“YOU MATTER: Real Life Stories & Resources for Suicide Prevention” is a community forum designed to address one of society’s toughest issues. The keynote speaker for the event is LeAnn Hull. An accomplished businesswoman, the direction of LeAnn’s life changed with the loss of her 16-year-old son to suicide. In response to this tragedy, she founded Andy Hull’s Sunshine Foundation, with the mission to raise awareness of the high rate of suicide and providing coping skills to deal with life’s challenges. With a “You Matter!” approach, the group offers education, support and encouragement. Following LeAnn’s message, there will be a panel discussion featuring community members and local experts. The forum is sponsored by Derry Township School District, Lower Dauphin School District, Milton Hershey School, Middletown Area School District, Palmyra Area School District, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts and caring community members.
