New Member Discovery Classes are held four times a year, with classes beginning in January, April, July and October. Classes are led by church staff and officers. Everyone is welcome to attend the classes to learn more about the mission and ministry of Derry Church and to find out what it means to be an active member. There's no obligation to join the church when classes are finished.

The next series of New Member Discovery Classes will be held on Sunday mornings:
July 28, August 4 & 11
8-10 am in the John Elder Classroom

and repeated on Wednesday evenings:
July 31 & August 7
6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Lounge

New members will join on Sunday, August 11 during the 10:30 am worship service.

Confirmation Classes

Youth join the church during their ninth grade year by participating in confirmation class. The class begins in early September and culminates with confirmation at the Easter Vigil worship service. This service is planned and led by the confirmands.

In 2014, the Easter Vigil will be held on Saturday, April 19 (the evening before Easter Sunday). For more information or to register for the 2014 confirmation class, contact Debbie Hough, Director of Christian Education.
