This year the Christian Education Committee is providing "Taking Faith Home" for the spiritual enrichment of Derry members and friends.

Each issue features daily readings, devotional practices, rituals and traditions, opportunities for service, and prayers -- all designed to enrich your life of faith. One two-sided page serves you for an entire week, and a new devotional is available at the church every month. "Taking Faith Home" is also available through the church's weekly e-newsletter.

For families, “Taking Home Faith” offers many possibilities for beginning new traditions for sharing your faith. At home, in the car, and around the table, “Taking Faith Home” presents fun devotional practices and new blessings you can try each week. After all, as parents you are the most formative faith role model in your child’s life. What you DO is more powerful than what you say.

For individuals, “Taking Home Faith” links Sunday worship with faith formation Monday to Saturday. Daily Bible readings are related to the Lectionary readings for each Sunday, offering an opportunity to delve deeper into the scriptures you may hear in worship. Many other ideas for service, practices, and prayers will inspire and guide you all week long.
