Derry Quilters
_______________________________________________

Meeting 9-11 am every Wednesday morning in the quilter's room (adjacent to the youth room and behind the Chapel)

The Derry Quilters started more than 40 years ago, and in the past 15 years alone the group has donated more than $10,000 to missions through Derry Church. How do they do it? One stitch at a time.

The group takes quilt tops and quilts them for 80 cents per yard of quilt thread. Funds from sale of the quilts are then donated to Derry's mission program.

The quilt pictured here was donated by the Derry Quilters to the Hershey Medical Center and given to the first baby born on March 15, 2008 to commemorate National Quilting Day.

Newcomers are invited to participate. If you already know how to quilt, that's helpful but not essential. We'll teach you how if you'd like to join in fellowship around the quilter's frame.
